Metec was founded in 2017 to produce water measurement systems for customers of LVI-WaBeK Oy. A separate service was born from Metec, which already at that time meant a higher-quality measurement method. They began to offer customers an increasingly individualized and modern service.
There was a demand for the service, and its further development also brought with it energy, humidity, and temperature measurement sensors. The service has grown during the few years of its existence to cover even more measurement possibilities. The user interface is unique, and it was the first to introduce e.g. 3D modeling. Metec's motto is: "Someone always has to be first".
At the end of 2022, Metec employed 18 people and is a promising Finnish growth company. Metec's know-how and experience capital includes tens of years of know-how in construction, contracting, logistic concepts and sales channels. Metec Oy belongs to WCOM-Group, known for its innovation, together with LVI-tukku LVI-WaBeK Oy and Wa-Plan Oy planning office.
Metec has comprehensive references for demanding new and renovation sites throughout Finland. The new myMetec project is yet another example of Metec's development work, which serves diverse target groups from residents to property managers and from designers to contractors.

It is possible to transfer API interfaces from the service by utilizing water consumption data automatically directly to the billing system for consumption-based billing.
Consumption data can also be viewed retrospectively, which makes it easier to clear up ambiguities, locate device faults, and invoicing, for example, in the event of a move.
